Conflict-of-interest check

Before starting, the team runs an internal conflict-of-interest check. If there is a conflict, we will let you know and the order does not proceed.

The analysis goes through the tender notice, the terms of reference, the draft contract and the annexes before any quotation. The question is direct: can the company deliver what is written, within the required deadline and at the required location?

The reading follows the order of those who evaluate: subject matter, qualification, bid proposal and contract. The answer comes in a technical report, with the recommendation and the reason.

Who this is for

  • Companies that sell, or want to sell, to the government.
  • Anyone holding a tender notice who needs to decide whether to take part.
  • Companies with an imported product or one subject to registration.

What is included

  • Tender notice assessment.
  • Technical feasibility report, with the recommendation and the reason.
  • A table of what the tender notice requires and what the company already has.
  • Two technical hours from the team.

What is not included

  • Preparing the bid proposal and the documents: these are separate services.

How it works

  1. Screening

The team confirms the session date and the subject matter, and runs the conflict-of-interest check.

  2. Reading

Tender notice, terms of reference, draft contract and annexes, in four blocks: subject matter, qualification, bid proposal and contract.

  3. Conversation

The report is presented to the company, with the risks and the open questions.

  4. Decision

The company decides whether to take part. If it does, everything else builds on the same reading.

Questions about this item

Does the analysis predict the outcome of the bidding?

No. It shows whether the company can meet what the tender notice asks for and which risks it takes on. The outcome depends on the competing bid proposals and on the evaluation.

I only have one question about the tender notice. Do I need the analysis?

Not necessarily. For a specific question, the technical hour may be enough; the analysis is for when the decision to take part depends on reading the whole tender notice.

Why does the service desk ask which agency is running the tender?

For the conflict-of-interest check before accepting the engagement. If there is a conflict, we will let you know and the order does not proceed.
